Data Ownership and Client Rights

Osher Digital is committed to giving clients clear control of their data and deliverables. This article explains what you own, how your information is handled and the rights you retain throughout your AI or automation project.

You Own Your Data Once Your Project Is Fully Paid

All project deliverables, including data, embeddings, workflows and intellectual property, are transferred to you once the full project invoice is paid.

Until full payment is received, all materials remain the property of Osher Digital. This is consistent with standard industry practice and is included in your contract.

Once payment is complete, ownership transfers to you in full.

What You Own After Payment

Once your project is fully paid, you own:

• All data you have provided

• All documents, files and knowledge base content

• All embeddings and vectorised content

• All prompt inputs, chat history and AI responses (if stored)

• All custom workflows, automations, scripts or integration logic

• All configuration files and environment settings

• All documentation provided during handover

• Any model tuning or custom prompt engineering created for your project

You have full rights to use, modify, extend or redeploy the solution without restriction.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only for the purpose of delivering and operating your solution. This includes:

• Knowledge retrieval

• Workflow automation

• Data processing

• Document generation

• AI based query handling

We do not use your data for internal training unless you specifically request this.

Your Rights to Access Your Data

You may request at any time:

• An export of stored data

• A copy of embeddings or indexes

• System configuration files

• Hosting environment information

• Workflow logic or automation configuration

We will provide this securely in a standard format.

Your Right to Deletion

You may request deletion of:

• Stored content

• Embeddings

• Chat history

• Logs held for functional purposes

• Credentials and access tokens

Deletion requests can be made at any time and will be actioned promptly.

Access and Permission Control

You may request:

• A list of who currently has access

• Removal of access for any user

• Rotation of keys or credentials

• Restrictions on outbound or third party connections

We apply least privilege principles during the project and remove access immediately after handover or on request.

Your Rights Under the Australian Privacy Principles (APP)

Osher Digital complies with the Australian Privacy Principles. This provides you with rights relating to:

• Data collection

• Data storage

• Purpose limitation

• Access and correction

• Deletion

• Privacy and confidentiality

These rights apply regardless of hosting model.
